Harrison M. Reed Collection contains 3 folders. Folder 11 contains a certification dated June 6, 1869 of Reeds election as Governor of Florida. A printed copy of Reed's second annual address to the state legislature is dated Jan. 4, 1879. A five page, handwritten letter by Reed is entitled "Jacksonville Opportunity." Seven pages of biographical information are handwritten & undated on lined paper. A 5 page typed copy of Reed's obituary from the Florida Times Union is dated May 26, 1899 "written by his own hand." Seems to be similar to the handwritten biography in the collection. The last item is a letter written by Harrison M. Reed Jr. to Edward Williamson of the Florida Historical Society when he enclosed a picture of Chole Reed, Harrison Reed's second wife for the collection of FHS.
