Folder contains corresponding letters between Watt Marchman and Lee E. Bigelow, in reference to the Bell of St.Pauls in Jacksonville. There is also a story about the bell, written by , Lee E. Bigelow. Letters were written in 1938 and discussed the restoration of the bell and the current location of the bell in that same year. The bell was the first bell in Jacksonville to be rung for worshipping in 1838. Two negro slaves helped with the erection of the bell, Peggy and Bacchus. |
